My name is Eyerusalem Y. Seyoum. I was born in Addis Ababa Ethiopia on March 16, 1995. Growing up I had an ordinary childhood but as I got in to my teenage years my love for art started growing tremendously.
I first picked up on photography humbly with my cell-phone believing that the value of photography has to be more than the specs of a lens.Photography to me is an expression of honesty. I use it as a tool to reach out to an external consciousness that is full of energy but is lacking expression. Photography is a means of preserving my unadulterated intuition, my quest to reach out to that part of reality that is as much an integral part of who I am as it is outside of me.
I express my understanding of things as a writer, I reflect my identity through modeling, with photography however, I explore the world around me, and whenever I see a reflection of myself in it, I snap a shot.
In my journey as a photographer I have learned a lot of things and also have achieved good things one of them being my exhibition at the National Museum of Ethiopia with other fellow photographers.
